Fragrance Oils: S thru Z
An excellent imitation of the very expensive real thing. A touch of real Indonesian sandalwood is accented by essential oils of cedarwood, patchouli, and amyris, supported by synthetic sandalwood aroma materials. BOTTOM LINE: The best synthetic sandalwood on the planet.
Flashpoint: >200º F.Sandalwood makes a welcome addition to virtually any blend -- here's an understated but powerfully sexy one:
Sensual Sandalwood
4 parts Sweet Cakes Sandalwood Fragrance
1 part Sweet Cakes Amber Fragrance
1 part Sweet Cakes Masculine Musk Fragrance
4 parts Sweet Cakes Sandalwood Fragrance
3 parts Sweet Cakes Yuzu or Sweet Cakes Grapefruit Fragrance
2 parts Sweet Cakes Osmanthus Fragrance
1 part Sweet Cakes Fig or Citron et Figue Fragrance This blend takes plain grapefruit to a whole new level -- the Fig adds "WOW!", while the Osmanthus brings a touch of floral mystery, and Sandalwood gives it a sensuous note.
3 parts Sweet Cakes Coconut Lemongrass Fragrance
1 part Sweet Cakes Tahitian Petals Fragrance This is an odd blend perhaps, but with a wonderful result! The Tahitian Petals lends an exotic floral note to the already lush "Thai" blend of coconut and lemongrass. Very exotic, this blend takes me away to the warm breezes of distant Thailand!
Here's a gorgeous True Rose blend that we like to refer to as "not your grandmother's rose fragrance":
Elizabethan Rose
4 parts Sweet Cakes True Rose Fragrance
2 parts Sweet Cakes Lavender Breeze Fragrance
1 part Sweet Cakes Hyacinth Fragrance
3 parts Sweet Cakes Tuberose Deluxe Fragrance
1 part Sweet Cakes Frankincense & Myrrh Fragrance The Frankincense & Myrrh gives a smoky, mysterious feel to the the Tuberose -- you'll be surprised at the rich, very upscale, "What's that fragrance?!" blend you'll get.
Important note: Unfortunately NOT perfect for cold-process soap--the scent takes quite a beating in CP soap, although it's wonderful in every other kind of soap and toiletry. Flashpoint: >200º F.
RECIPE: Sugar & Olive Oil Scrub for Soft Hands
In the palm of your clean hand, mix 1 tbsp. olive oil with 1 teaspoon sugar and 1-2 drops of Warm Vanilla Sugar (type) Fragrance. Rub this mixture thoroughly into your fingers, nail beds, and the back, palms, and heels of your hands. Rinse thoroughly with warm water. The result? Satiny smooth hands. When I'm done applying this scrub, the skin on my hands feels like rose petals (and I don't mean the fragrance oil).
